Inspired by the eye makeup at Gareth Pugh Spring 2013 Ready to Wear. I love how raw and wet the eyes looked at the show and wanted to create a more wearable version with the same effect and without tears. I used a lot of shimmer unlike the show but it helps create the illusion that the eyes are wet. I used innocent+twisted alchemy's eyeshadows, Velvet Tears and Peppermint Kisses, for the shimmer. Velvet Tears (kind of a fitting name for this look) is a red color that has a weird sheen to it and different colors of sparkles added, mostly green and blue. It's hard to tell in photos. Peppermint Kisses, a white shade with a red sheen, is what really brightened up the look.
